It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for Classy in Philadelphia’s feature, Where In The World Wednesday!
Says Jess:
If you participate, please take the button the fabulous Feris made to use in your post!
“The idea of WITWW is to post a picture of you in someplace in the world…it doesn’t have to be somewhere foreign or tropical. Just a picture of you somewhere that you consider traveling. It might even be somewhere in your own hometown!”
This is a picture of me in the Chinese Gardens in Sydney’s Darling Harbour. One Sunday, my roommate and I were both bored (and didn’t feel like doing work) and decided we might as well walk around the city. We walked down to the harbor, and since we had both been to Sydney Aquarium at that point (so many sharks! and penguins! and poisonous things! oh my?) we decided to stop into the Chinese Gardens. It was free entry that day, which was awesome, and we got lots of fun pictures even though it was raining and I? Freakin hate rain. Thus me standing above the arch in the above picture. The fact that it made a pretty picture was secondary to the fact that it prevented rain from drenching my head.
We also dressed up in traditional Chinese robes and frolicked about the gardens asking strangers to take our picture:
I need to do this feature more often!

So jealous that you’ve been there! Ugh, I want to go!
