I am notorious for buying beauty and bath products that I see in commercials, online or at Sephora (those little bins at the checkout are a killer). A few uses or weeks later, the product has lost its luster and I’m on to something new. This has become a serious issue in terms of space and money purposes. Namely, I have nowhere to put all this stuff and I certainly shouldn’t be buying any more.

So, I have given myself a mission. Project 10 pan. I’ve read about quite a few beauty bloggers (see Laura aka Lollipop26) taking up this project when they feel their makeup drawers are unloved and bursting at the seams, and I think it’s time for me to do the same.

Basically, you cannot buy any makeup/beauty products until you finish ten of your current products (obviously this excludes necessities like body wash and shampoo; I will buy more when mine run out, being dirty is not an option).

Technically, I tried to start this a couple weeks ago, but was derailed rather quickly when my foundation started breaking me out and I just HAD to go Sephora for a new one. Now that I have no more “needs,” I can begin properly.

I do have a bit of a head start as I finished this a couple days ago:

It is the Bliss Youth As We Know It concentrate, which I don’t probably need as I’m only 21, but it came as part of a Beautyfix set, and I liked the slight firming and glowy-ness it gave me.

It looks like a body scrub will be the next to go, and potentially a Soap & Glory lotion I got for Christmas.

But until I reach ten, no lovely Sephora trips or “I just needed new mascara but I accidentally spent $30 at the drugstore.”

Sigh.
